Merry Christmas Eve!!!!

So today I am tired and excited. Ryder is 3 1/2 and he is so excited about Christmas he was up until past midnight! Now he still sleeps while the present wait patiently under the tree!  Since he will not be at Daddy's Christmas morning we are having our Christmas celebration today. He gets a small stocking and a couple presents from me.  Then when he gets home on Christmas afternoon, Santa will have been here with his new Bike and some more smaller gifts. 

This is the year where Ryder actually understands some about Christmas and I struggle with making it a gift infused Holiday.  But I love to give and love seeing how excited Ryder is for Santa to come.  But last night we did go to the Christmas ship and had a great time.  Ryder gave all his Candy Canes away and wished many people a Merry Christmas. It was so magical it made my heart melt.  Plus he only wanted to give candy canes to cute girls, A man after my own heart!!

For all you single parents out there remember this is a time of sharing and giving.  Teach your kids that giving is more important than receiving. This will make life easier and more enjoyable for all!
