Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!!
Well today I woke up with no kid in the house and sick as a dog! But I am happy my son is playing with his new toys with his mom and is spending time with her today. I hope I can get over this crap since we have family Christmas at Grandma's tomorrow. It was fun to put together my Son's first Bike last night. Even tho I had to goto Toy R Us at 7 pm to have them fix a piece that was broken. But Life is full of obstacles.
Lesson today, Don't Sweat the Small Stuff! Ryder doesn't really understand the Christmas Holiday and what it represents yet He still is excited just to get a sock full of chocolate, new toys and play. Sometime I think as adults we need to step back and learn from our youth and "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff!" So everything didn't go as planned, the important thing is Ryder is having fun and enjoying his time with family(even if it isn't with me)! I am now going to take care of myself so I can be the fun Dad tomorrow and enjoy time with my family and my son.
