Well December is always a time of rejoicing and looking back on your life. I would like to thank everyone that is a part of mine and keeps me on my path. You know who you are Mom.
I have had a rough time with my son this month. Teaching him about Santa and the Naughty and Nice list. I have to admit I have used the Naughty list as a threat to my son. I don't know if this is right but man does he snap to attention. Ryder and myself have had a lot of talks about sharing and that doing good rewards you. But this holiday makes it so hard to learn about sharing. All he wants is TOYS and doesn't care about really anything else. I got a text from his mom this morning that said "he thought Santa came last night when he saw presents wrapped under the tree this morning! Now begging to open one..." HAHAHA lesson learned no presents out until Christmas morning! Thanks Reanna.
So tonight Ryder, Grandma and myself are going to watch the Christmas ship at Gasworks and I want Ryder to give every kid a Candy Cane. I hope this will help teach him that giving is fun and nice to do. Plus he will get to see the smiles and laugh's of all the other kids. Who knows maybe this will be a fluke, but I do believe he will remember this and learn from this experience!
Have a Safe and Merry Christmas!!
