Ahhh the unforgettable Christmas Hangover!!!!

Christmas brings so much love and giving, but still we wake up the day after Christmas with the kids playing with all there new toys but are already bored and wanting more presents.  You can't really use the Naughty and Nice list as motivation for your kids anymore.

Today is our day of spending with our Family.  We have one more Christmas to go through. So for Ryder he has had 3, going to have one today and still needs to have one with his other extended family!!  WOW that is 5 in 3 days, no wonder kids love Christmas!

The hard part of this I feel is showing Ryder how life is built on faith and knowledge.  Teaching him faith is proven to be hard,  he still doesn't like to jump into my arms at the pool. Even though he knows I am going to catch him he still has little faith in me.  I come to learn he has faith in family and his loved ones.  This morning I was wrapping up the cousin's gifts and Ryder came over and wanted to help.  He actually wrapped Weston's present and helped me with the girls!

Ryder told me Christmas Eve that he thinks Santa wasn't going to give him a bike. I asked him why was he on the Naughty list? He told me it would be OK because Santa should give it to a kid that doesn't have as much as he does.  That broke my heart and I realized how blessed I was to have him as my son. Not only are we teaching our Kids knowledge and faith, but they are teaching us!!  That is where sometimes we go wrong, maybe we just need to show our kids knowledge and faith and let them decide to follow in our footsteps or build there own path.  Hope everyone's Christmas was as good as mine!

Have a great week and lets get ready to bring in 2011!

See you tomorrow,
